Incapacity Benefit

Incapacity benefit  may be available to individuals that are unable to work due to disability or illness, experienced before 27th October 2008

Incapacity Benefit is not available to claimants after that date as it has been replaced with the Employment and Support Allowance. For recipients prior to that date the changes will become effective between 2010 & 2013.
