Living Options has been operational since October 1992. It is a managed unit of Scope. It acts as a user-led community based service developed by disabled people.

Vision And Strapline

To work with others to bring about a society in which people with disabilities are full and equal citizens participating and contributing without discrimination.
Disabled people looking into the future and tackling today the issues that concern their lives tomorrow.

Aim and Objectives

To enable disabled people to have the opportunities to become fully integrated members of society.
To enable disabled people to participate actively in work and activities of Living Options as equals
To provide disabled people, families, carers, professionals and other organisations with current and relevant information on disability issues.
To provide consultation focus for joint planning teams by enabling and empowering disabled people through support and opportunities.
To enable disabled people to identify unmet needs and shortfall in service provision through process of consultation with each other and statutory services, and to develop services to meet those needs.
To provide work and life skills training, volunteer activities, and personal development for disabled people.
